Subscription Withdrawal

[Subscription Withdrawal Guide]


① For paid services purchased by members, content is provided with a distinction between content eligible for subscription withdrawal and content where subscription withdrawal is restricted. Members can withdraw (cancel the purchase) their subscription without additional fees within 7 days from the date of contract conclusion or the date when the paid service becomes available for use. However, some paid services, such as those received free of charge from the company or third parties through gifts or events, or paid content considered already used or deemed to have been used at the time of subscription withdrawal request, may be subject to restrictions on subscription withdrawal (purchase cancellation) under relevant laws. In this case, the company shall take measures in accordance with the relevant laws, such as notifying users of the restrictions on subscription withdrawal at the time of purchasing the relevant paid service.


② Subscription withdrawal for paid services is restricted in the following cases:


1. In the case of items that are immediately used or applied to content and services after purchase.

2. In the case of items obtained without payment during the normal use process of content and services.

3. In the case of items where additional benefits have already been used in items that offer additional benefits.

4. In the case of partial use of items sold in bundles.

5. In the case of capsule-type/probability-type items where the act of opening can be considered as use or where utility is determined at the time of opening.


③ Users may withdraw their subscription within 3 months from the date they receive the content if the content received does not match the displayed or advertised content or if the content is not fulfilled as per the terms of the contract. Alternatively, they may withdraw within 30 days from the date they became aware of or could have been aware of the discrepancy.


④ Subscription withdrawal and refund requests must be made through the procedure established by the company. The company will assess the validity of the request and proceed with payment confirmation and processing according to the refund operation policy and procedure of each terminal device, carrier, and store operator. When a refund is determined through assessment, the company will refund the remaining amount after deducting a 10% refund fee.


⑤ If a minor makes a payment for a paid service without the consent of their legal guardian, the minor or the legal guardian may cancel the payment. However, this is limited if the payment is made within the scope of property allowed for disposal by the legal guardian or if the minor deceives others into believing they are of legal age. Whether the purchaser of the paid service is a minor is determined based on the records of the terminal device used for payment, the payment executor information, and the payment method holder information. The company may request submission of documents proving minority status and legal guardianship if necessary.


⑥ The responsibility for managing the terminal device lies with the member, and it should not be used by acquaintances or third parties. Subscription withdrawal and refund are not possible for payments resulting from inadequate management of the terminal device or permitting use by third parties.


⑦ Charges/call fees incurred during content download and service usage are excluded from refunds.


⑧ Refunds may be restricted in cases where the member's actions, such as violation of current laws and significant terms, lead to termination of the service agreement.


▣ Effects of Subscription Withdrawal


① Users who withdraw their subscription must return the content provided by the company and delete the same content if it remains with the user, even if it is returned in digital form.


② Costs associated with the return of content due to the user's fault are borne by the user, while costs associated with the return of content due to the company's fault are borne by the company.


③ The company will refund the payment in the same method as the original payment within 3 business days from the date of receiving the returned content. If refunding in the same method is not possible, the company will refund using the method provided by the company. The company will refund the payment within 3 business days from the date of receiving the user's subscription withdrawal request. If the payment cannot be refunded within 3 business days, the company must provide reasons for the delay.


④ In case of subscription withdrawal due to the user's fault, the company may deduct the amount equivalent to the benefits obtained from the use of the content (bonus acquisition) from the refundable amount.


⑤ In case of subscription withdrawal due to the company's fault, the company will refund the payment using the same method as the original payment. However, if it is difficult to implement this due to market operators, the company will follow the policy of the market operator.


⑥ If refunds are made through platforms such as Google, account usage may be suspended if in-game items have been consumed after the refund.


⑦ Refunds for in-game items due to storage data errors caused by app deletion or device changes are restricted.
